Tee Club Girls Scholarship Fund
In keeping with the Tee Club’s goal of promoting women’s golf, the Club presents a scholarship annually to a local young woman that wants to improve her golf game. The scholarship is open to young women between the ages of 12 – 18 from the greater South Shore Area for up to a $500 scholarship to help defray the cost of golf lessons, golf clinics or the golf school of their choice. Applicants submit an essay discussing how golf has influenced them, how they would use the scholarship to improve their golf game, how they were introduced to the game and hopes for improving her game as part of the selection process. Since 2011 a total of $10,200.00 has been awarded to scholarship winners from many surrounding towns, including Hingham.
